On Tuesday night, the Thaden Barnstormers traveled to the New School to kick off the 1A West Conference Season. The varsity girls team moved to 1-0 in the conference with a 39-27 win, highlighted by outstanding shooting in the second half. Senior Brin Rehobson led the way with four three-pointers; Laura Bailey and Ella Wise were strong in the paint defensively. The junior high girls' team, not to be outdone, notched their first conference win of the season. The Stormers return to Barnstormer Court at AAO Friday to take on the Ozark Catholic Griffins; tip-off for the junior high boys' game is 5:00 pm with varsity games to follow.
